Flying experience with Ryanair

I recently flew with Ryanair for the first time and really looked forward to the flight with my family on our short trip from Manchester to Dublin. Actually, me and my family are seasoned travellers with hundreds of thousands of air miles alone to scores of countries clocked up on our past adventures, during which we have experienced some of the most inhospitable and unpleasant flight, immigration and travel experiences that one could imagine. That being said, I read several reports from different people on how Ryanair give a poor service deal and also noted criticism of their stringent rules that they impose on passengers. This criticism put us slightly on edge as we started our journey. However, as we set off to experience Ryanair, we were absolutely shocked at the huge gap between what we read and what we experienced and we quickly discovered that Ryanair truly are an excellent carrier. They may have strict rules but they are not unreasonable and certainly not unnecessary.

My advice to people who want to complain about Ryanair is to first look at what you didn't do prior to your travels and then relate your complaint to your inability to follow procedures. Don't complain about something because you couldn't perform.

People who want to fly Ryanair must look at their rules and turn up at the airport in good time. Remember, you must have your boarding pass already printed and you must check in prior too 4 hours before your plane is due to fly, failing which you will be charged.

Well done Ryanair! thumbs up to your team.
